Please provide a brief background about yourself:
I’m 21 years old and have been working in London since I was 18 around recruitment. I love going into the city and find it exciting to meet new people and make memories in new places.
How would you describe your day-to-day role at Claremont?
What led you to choose a career in this field?
Working in recruitment from a Finance perspective made me realise the amount of opportunity for success and I wanted to bring myself out of my comfort zone which has changed me into a much better person.
What convinced you to apply to Claremont?
When interviewing for Claremont I interviewed with Luke (Head of Germany at the time) and Phil (MD) and I was met with really warm family feels from the start.
I was looking for a company that would be able to give me all the support I need to make my next move right and that is what I’ve had ever since – I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
What’s the most exciting part of your role?
Aside from hearing your deal song and the numerous praises, I would have to say a great recommendation from a candidate that you’ve helped – there’s just no better feeling.
What’s the most challenging part of your role?
The most challenging I would have to say is staying persistent – recruitment is not a straight forward method to success and can’t be measured. It may feel like you aren’t getting anywhere sometimes but the work will pay off in the end.
How is working at Claremont different from previous roles you’ve had?
Everyone in Claremont genuinely wants you to be successful. People will take time out of their day to come over and give you ideas or support to help you be a better recruiter, and that’s without even asking. You WON’T find that as much anywhere else.
What is your greatest accomplishment since joining Claremont?
Being able to close my first deal within 2 months and getting a nice recommendation from the candidate for the work I’ve put in.
What hobbies do you have outside of work?
I like to go the Gym and go for drinks with my friends in local bars – I’d say a Bottomless Brunch above all else.
If you could describe your day in three words, what would they be?
Challenging/ Innovative/ Motivating
