Please provide a brief background about yourself:

With 22 years' experience in the IT Recruitment industry, I have fulfilled many roles within the recruitment world from Contracts Administrator to Account Manager. I moved into operations, training and database management and ran my own consultancy before being approached by Claremont to become their Head of Systems.

How would you describe your day-to-day role at Claremont?

I look after the Tech stack at Claremont, from day-to-day support and training to the implementation of systems and applications.

What led you to choose a career in this field?

My mum’s partner owned a recruitment agency which I worked in during my school holidays.I started a degree in Accounting & Finance but soon realised I preferred Recruitment!

What convinced you to apply to Claremont?

I was already working as an external consultant for Claremont, so jumped at the chance to work permanently for them.

What’s the most exciting part of your role?

Bringing in new technology to the organisation and seeing how this improves things for everyone.

What’s the most challenging part of your role?

Getting adoption for new processes and technologies

How is working at Claremont different from previous roles you’ve had?

I was an independent consultant before so it’s been great to now be part of a work family, I had missed contributing to common goals and feeling valued.

What is your greatest accomplishment since joining Claremont?

The successful implementation and role out of our Onboarding and Reporting tools

What hobbies do you have outside of work?

My 4 children keep me busy but when I do have time I love a good read, swimming and the occasional glass of wine😉

What’s the best piece of advice you would offer to candidates?

Always aim to be the best version of yourself you can be.
