Please provide a brief background about yourself

I am 22 years old and have just graduated from Nottingham Trent University. I am a keen field hockey player and love spending my weekends with family and friends.

How would you describe your day-to-day role at Claremont?

My role at Claremont includes supporting recruiters to fill candidate roles while also attracting new clients. I also aid our internal talent acquisition through promotion of Claremont across social pages helping to onboard new talent.

What led you to choose a career in this field?

During lockdown in 2020 I decided to complete a placement year and fell into employer brand and recruitment marketing. I realised that recruitment was something that interested me and so when applying for graduate roles knew I wanted to continue working in this industry.

What convinced you to apply to Claremont?

After my very first interview I felt like the company culture at Claremont was exactly what I was looking for. I also love having complete autonomy over my work with great support from the team and management.

What’s the most exciting part of your role?

I love creating and posting new and exciting content. Seeing something you’ve worked on receive high engagement and positive reactions is very satisfying, especially when it leads to new business for the company.

What’s the most challenging part of your role?

Consistently developing new and exciting content ideas that reach the correct target audience. Marketing isn’t a science and some campaigns don’t always achieve the success rates you are expecting.

How is working at Claremont different from previous roles you’ve had?

The culture at Claremont is very different from previous companies I have worked for. Everyday is different and exciting and the team are great. You never know what you’re going to walk into on a Monday morning.

What is your greatest accomplishment since joining Claremont?

Growing both my personal LinkedIn network and the companies to achieve a high, engaged following.

What hobbies do you have outside of work?

I am a keen field hockey player competing for Chelmsford Hockey Club every weekend. I have previously competed at a national level while at university.

What’s the best piece of advice you would offer to candidates?

Build up your personal network with those working in the same industry as you. Ensure you are posting consistently in order to increase your engagement.
