Application Manager

Location: Flexible, UK based
Salary £40-45k per annum DOE + Company Car, 25 Days Holiday, Pension

What you will do:
As Application Manager you will be responsible for ongoing development of the bespoke sales application used by our transactional sales teams. This will involve establishing and maintaining effective interdepartmental relationships in order to be aware of new products and pricing strategies. You will work closely with developers to ensure solutions are provided effectively, timely and within budget constraints. You will also be responsible for rolling-out changes and troubleshooting any technical problems.

How you will do it:
As Application Manager you will analyse the structure and flow of the transactional sales channels to identify any possible improvements to the application, forge and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and ensure you are aware of proposed and pending product or pricing changes. You will have budget control responsibility and ownership of any technical problems. It is important to note that success will be achieved in this role through effective relationship management rather than technical expertise.

What we look for:
Our ideal Application Manager will have a strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills as well as being an effective communicator with experience of stakeholder management in a corporate organisation. You will have experience of managing a six-figure budget and project managing IT applications rollouts. The position can be home based anywhere in the UK, but will cover multiple UK locations so it is essential you have a full UK driving license and are willing to travel.
