Job description

We have an opportunity for an Industrial Door Engineer to join our South based team, this will be covering everywhere from Birmingham to the south.
You will be required to undertake Servicing, Repairing, Installation relating to all types of industrial and commercial manual and automatic doors, roller shutters, loading bay and dock equipment, high speed doors, automatic vehicle barriers and gates, fire doors and shutters, smoke curtains.

How you will do it
Liaising with Customer Service Centre and Field Service Leader and clients to deliver a high standard of service and installation expertise.
Liaising with suppliers to identify part numbers and prices for spare parts required on call outs, servicing to assist the sales/servicing department with processing of quotes and orders for parts to complete remedial works.
Monitoring of van stock and planned or non-routine service calls.
Dedicated and hardworking engineer capable of working on own initiative or in a team.
Good problem solving skills.
Punctual time keeping and reliable.
Able to work unsociable hours at times and be on a formal call out rota for emergency out of hours repairs/breakdowns.

What we look for
Previous experience in the industrial/commercial door and gate sector
BS7036 certified authorised technician (Automatic Doors).
CSCS Card for Door/Shutter servicing and installation
17th Edition wiring regulations if possible

CCNSG safety passport,
IPAF Scissor and Boom PAL Licence,
PASMA mobile scaffold licence,
Joinery skills if possible,
Access Control Training
Gate force testing Training
City and guilds training in electrical installations if possible,
City and guilds training in welding and fabrication if possible.

You will receive van and tools to do the job, pension, commission, overtime, callout,opportunity to earn an additional 5% for up selling on jobs
