My client is currently looking for a Batch Operations Manager for their Infrastructure Operations department

The successful candidate has the exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is responsible for the processing of automated workflow scheduling services across corporate and billing platforms.

As the Batch Operations Manager the successful applicant will have line management responsibilities for shifts of operators consisting of 12 staff providing 24 x 7 support.

Role responsibilities:

*Direct Line Management and Development of our 4 Batch Operations shifts
*Build effective working relationships with a variety of infrastructure and application teams
*Provide day to day management support.
*Deliver Standardised consistent processes and working practices across the team.
*Act as the primary escalation point for our site in Livingston.
*Identify areas of improvement and work with platform teams in the delivery of systems and services into the business.
*Ensure systems security policies are strictly enforced in line with company policy and industry best practice.
*Ensure that Batch Operations process adhere to and are compliant with regulatory requirements.
*Conduct Performance Reviews.
*Undertake effective customer engagement and stakeholder management, report and escalate Incidents in a timely manner to Stakeholders, initiating corrective action where required.
*Manage and support the following Operational processes:
Incident, Change and Problem Management

To be successful in the role, we are looking for the following skills and experience

Good communication and relationship management skills
Demonstrable experience of working in an environment where it has been critical to deliver rapidly against the changing needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within an ITIL Framework, have knowledge of creating a Service Catalogue and be able to manage teams of individuals to get the most out of them.
Track record in supporting diverse and complex technical environments where maximum availability has been achieved.
Willingness to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic 24 X 7 environment.
