What you will do:

As Bid Administrator you will support the sales community by obtaining, distributing, tracking and monitoring of PQQs and Bid Opportunities and completion of subcontractor questionnaires enabling growth within the company. You will identify, communicate and manage lead opportunities identified through sources other than bid portals to drive sales productivity such as Construction Enquirer; local frameworks etc.

The role will be office based from Leicester and you will report to the Sales Enablement Executive. You will work as part of a bid team and across all business units. You will work closely with the Bid Coordinators to manage the bid portals and projects in the pipeline to provide updates on performance against the opportunities. You will ensure correct processes are followed to minimise risk.

Critical will be the successful applicants' ability to communicate openly with external and internal customers to meet and exceed customer expectations. Your key contacts internal will be Sales Account Managers, Sales Manager, Business Development Managers, Finance, QEHS Department, H.R, Global Ethical Compliance and Marketing Departments. Key external contacts will be clients tendering and their representatives from which it will be essential to obtain feedback on Wins/Losses to identify areas for improvement.

How you will do it:

Sift through bid notifications to identify the opportunities that we would want to bid for.
Register interest on the Bid Portals for the opportunities identified and distribute these to the relevant Sales Managers and Account Managers for a full review.
You will advise the Sales Manager & Account Manager of the process to be completed for bid support.
Manage risk by advising and ensuring Account Managers follow company processes and procedures.
Responsible for distribution of the PQQ/Tender Opportunities to the relevant bid coordinators with details of the portal.
Responsible for keeping a Bid Database. Tracking exactly what opportunities are out in the marketplace. Which bids we are/have responded to. Which business we have won/lost.
Keep an accurate account of opportunities and what dates they will be available in the future.
Work with the Bid Coordinators to manage all communication on bid portals for each opportunity to include communication and raising of any clarification questions.
Manage and communicate feedback of tender submissions to bid team and project team.
Responsible for completion of subcontractor questionnaires within the necessary timescales.
Identify, communicate and manage lead opportunities identified through sources other than bid portals to drive sales productivity such as Construction Enquirer; local frameworks etc.
Liaise with departments such as HR, Finance, QEHS, and Global Ethical Compliance for accurate responses and policies for submission.
