Business Analyst required by my client a global engineering organisation based in Manchester on a initial 3- 6 month contract with view to extend.

The role is paying between £350 - £400 per day depending on relevant experience.

Please note this role will require travel between Manchester and Birmingham and you have to be open to the travel to be successful. Generally it will be 1 week in each.

You will work with the business to identify opportunities for improvement and sometimes be brave to challenge the status quo by offering alternative ways of working. You will be working very closely with various business groups, project manager and IT Business Partner (IT BP). You will be heavily involved in defining user stories and allocating those to the relevant MVA (minimal viable audience) and MVP (minimal viable product) in collaboration with business process owners. You will support PM in coaching all relevant parties on agile methodology as necessary to ensure that business benefits are delivered as early in the process as possible

*Experienced Business Analyst with at least 2 years of proven IT Agile project delivery participation
*Good understanding of business process analysis
*Good understanding of Business Change Management
*Experience working with Developers or Business SMEs
*Good analytical skills and interpersonal skills to interact with various business process representatives
*Process design documentation experience using flow charts
*Ability to articulate business process requirements to a development team (and vice versa: IT requirements to the business) in order to support the implementation
*Sound knowledge of Project Management practices and principals
*Good knowledge of data analysis and reporting
*Great verbal and written communications skills
*English language to a business proficiency level
*Ability to travel within the UK and spend most of the time in Manchester and Birmingham as per project manager direction

*Agile or Scrum certification
*Master's Degree in IT
*Experience in process optimization and standardization
*Experience of working with complex matrix international organisations
