Business Development Manager

What you will do
As a Business Development Manager you will sell Public Access/General Alarm systems, primarily within the Oil and Gas industry. You will be responsible for identifying and targeting decision makers and influencers on projects world-wide and converting opportunities into profitable sales. You will be responsible for developing an understanding of the market, including competitor activity and market developments.

The role requires technical understanding of Spector Lumenex systems; the ability to interpret clients' requirements, make sales presentations to specialist technical audiences and comprehend complex market scenarios, which would then lead to exploitation of opportunities and protective measures against competitive threats.

You will required to develop an understanding of Tyco's business and complete range of solutions in order to promise them to customers.

How you will do it
You will achieve or exceed an annual budget in terms of sales order values and profitability, through strategic marketing analysis resulting in identification of opportunities, threats and potential target prospects. You will develop key accounts, agents and partners and introduce new products and systems when required. The aim will always be conversion of identified prospects into sales. As part of this you will keep an online sales CRM database updated with customer information, appointments, activities, leads and pipeline management.
