Cloud Engineer

I am currently working with a global technology service provider who are looking for a Cloud Engineer with a Linux / SysOps background to join their team based in Central London. Ideally, you will have development or networking as a secondary skill set. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities:
*Design and implement infrastructure, processes and automation for global complex environments
*Gather requirements, provide design, develop and deploy automation solutions that align with roadmaps
*Documentation of designs, processes, projects, tools, standards and techniques
*Provide ongoing L3-4 support

Experience Required:
*Strong experience in complex systems designs, implementation and automation
*Private & public cloud design and deployment
*Experience with Ansible (ideally) or other automation
*Strong Linux experience preferably with RedHat
*Scripting/programming experience - Shell, python, perl, PHP, Java, and/or NodeJS
*Kubernetes or Docker knowledge is ideal

Advantageous skills (not essential):
*VoIP experience
*Experience with Nagios, Splunk or ELK
*REST APIs
*Windows OS Support
*Networking experience - Routing, Switching, Load Balancing, VPN
*Apache, JBOSS, Tomcat
*Virtualisation - VMware, OpenStack
*Storage Systems / SAN technology
