My client - a Professional Services Company feeding into Central Government departments
needs to recruit the services of a very experienced Chief Data Architect

The role will include

Lead the data architecture team on huge Programmes to support delivery of robust data services

The successful candidate will:

- Inspire best practice for data products and services within your teams
- Work with colleagues across the programme, establish the data vision, strategy and roadmap for the programme
- Build data engineering capability by providing technical leadership and knowledge sharing opportunities within the programme
- Work with other senior team members to identify, plan, develop and deliver services
- Work with colleagues across the programme to ensure a joined up approach to delivery of data products
- Work with the Data function to ensure that data work within the programme adheres to and supports best practice
- Act as task manager for data architects working within the programme and ensure their work is aligned with the data roadmap and programme priorities

- Establishing standards and keeping abreast of best practice in industry and across government.

- The ability to reverse-engineer data models from a live system.
- Strong metadata management.
