My client is bouncing back from the economic downturn and is very much in recruitment mode

Part of their recruitment involves the requirement for a very good Change and Release Manager

*** To be considered you must have excellent Service Now experience ***
Also required is very strong CHange experience as the successful candidate will be required to oversee the Change Advisory Board for my client

The successful candidate will provide the lead on bringing new technologies into a live production environment.

Providing quality assurance and guiding colleagues on best practice for Release Management.

As the Release Manager, the successful applicant will provide a release and change management service across all production changes.

Also chairing the Change Approval Board and relevant project meetings.

The Release Manager will make sure the right products are implemented in a timely manner to help colleagues deliver a market leading service to customers.

The role holder will be required to

Apply quality assurance across the software development life cycle
Make sure deployment to production environments are managed and appropriately tested
Present complex data in a simple format
Manage risk and resolving issues
Guide the teams on release readiness
Oversee risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

Providing unparalleled levels of service and convenience for customers

Understand the risks associated with each release
Manage test environments, keeping concurrency between each test environment ensuring key components aligned to production.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas

An in-depth experience working as a Release Manager or similar role, within a fast paced environment
Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
A broad technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and application development stacks
An ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
A solid understanding of project life cycle and associated technical activities
Experience of Change management within ITSM tools such ServiceNow
