Customer Service Representative

What you will do:

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our successful team here in Manchester who are responsible for delivering an outstanding service to our clients within our Fire Protection business. The business is a leading manufacturer and distributor of water-based fire suppression systems and components, offering one of the broadest lines of fire protection system equipment worldwide.

The Customer Service Representative will follow up on transactions effectively ensuring the agreed quantities of products are delivered to the customer as set out in the sales offer/order, at the agreed place and time. This will involve handling incoming inquiries from customers and ensure orders are entered quickly and efficiently with zero errors and investigate and solve customer's complaints or queries using initiative and defined escalation processes.

How you will do it:

As the Customer Service Representative you will focus on a number of areas. A major part of this role will involve order processing through our ERP system SAP, this will involve sending confirmations to customers, order input in SAP, ensuring price agreements are triggered, checking delivery and payment terms, and provide necessary documentation.

In addition to this from a customer perspective you will handle enquiries, handle non conformities and complaints, and provide general customer care. From these customer interactions it is crucial that they are logged and details are kept up to date.

*Excellent verbal and written command of English
*The ability to become a product specialist and customer point of contact within our technical range of products.
*Experience of supporting customers throughout the ordering process including delivery and returns.
