What you will do

We are looking for a Data Centre Account Manager for one of our biggest clients. As the Data Centre Account Manager you will develop new business within existing and new accounts within the Data Centre vertical market. You will be tasked with growing both Johnson Controls service lines and winning new projects, alongside picking up new business you will be responsible for protecting our service baseline.

How you will do it

You will sell our full product portfolio and use technology and innovation to enhance relationships, grow revenue and achieve sales and profitability targets. You will put the customer first and own the Data Centre vertical becoming a valuable additional to the team as a subject matter expert. Through working closely with the key accounts 'virtual team' to pull together high quality proposals and bids. You will own the sales cycle from opportunity identification, qualification, proposal development, close out and manage ongoing relationships. You will also ensure CRM tool is proactively used and maintained, ensuring sales and pipeline data is kept clean and up to date

What we look for

Preferred
You will ideally already be within a Data Centre Account Manager role and already have an understanding of data centre technologies challenges and also have an understanding of the complexities of service delivery within the FM market.
Understanding of both HVAC and F&S technologies and solutions
Technical qualification (e.g. BEng/HND)

Required
You will have the ability to quickly form quality relationships at all levels within a business. You will have the ability to form close working relationships with colleagues and work in a team. You will be successful in identifying and opening opportunities across the entire Johnson Controls portfolio. You will have a passion for sales, wanting to own the sales experience from end-to-end. You will have entrepreneurial mindset, developing a DC brand and acting as a subject matter expert (SME) within target market. You will be experienced in forming high quality proposals and bids.
