Role description:

The main responsibilities of this role are the design, management and support of my client's Data Centres, co-located at Third-party Data Centre providers.

Main responsibilities:

- High and low-level design solutions for Data Centre projects
- patching, labelling and installations
- document and keep current all Rack, Schematics, Patching and cross-connects records
- Management of Space capacity, ensuring efficient use of space at all time
- Manage access permissions for Data Centre facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Manage Data Centre work, Method Statements and Risk assessments ensuring regulatory compliance
- Manage vendors and for quotations and deliverables, ensure quality is maintained

- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing skills, interacting appropriately with technical and business resources
- Understanding of It Infrastructure & Architecture
- Strong analytical / fault finding / diagnostics / trouble-shooting skills
- A strong team player, communicator and collaborator
- Methodical approach to problem solving and attention to detail

Effective time management skills; with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, deadline pressures

ITIL experience
Focus on customer experience and service
Passion for meticulous standards
3+ years experience in Data Centre environment
Strong technical competencies resulting from previous working experience at expert level within an IT operational or support environment.
