An initial 3 month contract working for a world leading insurance company as a Data Privacy & Governance Manager responsible for multiple projects that deliver measurable improvements across data privacy, providing that data is captured, stored and processed as per policy & obligations under regulatory law, mitigating existing data privacy risk and the continuous development of Data Maturity Framework.
*Line manager of 2 x Data Privacy & Governance Analyst, and part of Data Governance leadership team.
*Support the successful delivery of the Data Governance Roadmap, taking the lead on projects as appropriate, offering guidance and advice tailored to each project.
*Work with stakeholders to ensure we adhere to our data privacy obligations, conducting regular monitoring and analysis against our framework, reporting findings and recommending potential areas for improvement
*Represent the team in Data privacy related incidents. Provide specialist advice aligned with our policies and standard ways of working, agreeing actions required to resolve incident ensuring all evidence is produced/stored to support any future investigations and inform learnings.
*Leverage existing and implement new technologies in the data privacy arena to deliver efficiencies and create capacity for increased scope
*Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data privacy systems, processes and standards
*Previous experience in similar role
