Looking for a Data Product Manager with strong Data Governance experience on an initial 6 month contract, outside IR35. Hybrid working.
You will be responsible for driving the adoption of the data governance and quality capabilities that provide a common understanding of our data, underpinned by data of high quality that is accurate, complete, relevant and consistent across the organization and enables and assures data led opportunities.
*Form effective internal customer relationships across the business. Ensures the Data Governance and Quality is driven by business needs and value prioritization by helping understand how the capabilities and tools can be used to support propositions and internal processes.
*Translate business strategies and commercial needs into a backlog with high quality user stories and communicate these clearly to the managed service provider and internal service teams. Lead internal customer forums to prioritise the backlog.
*Build-Run-Own's Data governance and quality tooling that provide a business glossary, data catalogue, data lineage, data quality profiling, measurement and assurance and ensures an operational service is delivered.
*Works closely and participates with Data Governance forum's that ensure that data quality issues are identified and resolved proactively.
*Continuous improvement and innovation of customer experiences (internal and external) and team processes.
*Make effective trade-off decisions e.g. scalability vs running costs, tech debt vs speed to value.
*Solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business, data and tech stack - regulatory, architectural, marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and privacy.
*Pro-actively identify and manage risk, issues and dependencies relating to the delivery of change.
*Ensure that technical documentation and implementation details are accurately communicated across relevant teams.
*Work closely and act as the point of contact with external partners and vendors including, Glue-Reply, Experian, Quest and OneTrust. Where partners are providing an ongoing service ensuring that the service is operating to agreed SLA's and act as the point is escalation within the business.
*Proven experience as a Product Manager defining and delivering Data governance, quality and assurance solutions in an agile environment.
*Able to build and maintain strong relationships with a large number of business customers.
*Highly influential. Lead through empowering others, influence and trust
*Understanding of modern, customer and data centric product and experience development approaches and techniques.
*Understanding how to collect and use data that can drive effective decision making.
