My client is looking to recruit a strong Enterprise Architect to join their expanding department

To be considered for this excellent role you will need to show the following experience

- Architectural or systems engineering background.
- The ability to evaluate and assess existing legacy infrastructure
- Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Master Data Management space.
- Governance of architecture controls and standards leading to standardised architectural frameworks.

Understanding of web server services, API architectures, Enterprise Service Bus technologies.
The ability to lead software evaluations, capabilities assessments and modelling.
Able to work in a direct and indirect (matrix) environment.
Logical thinker.
Ability to articulate ideas and concepts, both orally, written and presentation form.
Ability to adapt communications to suit audience, both by level of seniority as well as audience type (e.g. internal or customer).
Familiarity with MS suite of products (including Visio) and preferentially for use of MindMapper or similar tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following

Responsible for all nominated platform architectures.
Development and maintenance of platforms and applications which utilise them.
Revise specific applications architectures
Consulting with internal IT teams for aligning projects with the elected architectures.

Overall accountability for architecture development, management and delivery roadmaps
Present architecture recommendations to managers, peers and other parties as required.
Documentation of business requirements and explain applications architecture orientations.
Analyse the overall applications landscape as currently deployed.
Maintain control over the architecture / SDLC / project lifecycle, leading a team of resources as required and maintaining inertia once a project is in progress.

Monitor and manage any operating disorder
Matrix-manage a team of functional and non-functional architects as appropriate.
Maintaining a deep understanding of infrastructure by liaising with the Infrastructure Lead.
Manage customisation, shell scripting and configuration as required for ongoing deployments of chosen applications.
