The key purpose of this role is to be accountable for leading Enterprise Architecture activities to oversee the execution of change towards targeted business vision and outcomes.
The successful candidate will provide the necessary leadership, analysis and design related to the development of a well-managed enterprise architecture.
Creating deliverables that help develop a direction for managing the organisation's portfolio of "as-is" and "to be" to align business outcome objectives.
Demonstrating the delivery of major change projects including high impact tangible outcomes.
The role has many facets and will include
Understand business capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding enterprise system designs
Drive and support the business strategy.
Design and lead the adoption of Enterprise Architecture across the line of business applications and technologies.
Manage and develop the architecture for a broad scope of projects, working closely with application development and support teams.
Provide consulting support to application architects within projects
Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies
Understand, advocate and augment the principles of information technology strategies.
Analyse the technology industry, competitors and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise.
Define the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
Identify the organisational impact and financial impact of the enterprise architecture.
Maintain the company's compliance standards
Work alongside the Risk function in developing and maintaining a risk management agenda,
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
To be considered for this excellent role you will need to have excellent experience in the following areas
Previous experience of at least two IT architecture disciplines, including Solutions Architecture, Systems Architecture, Business Architecture, Information/Data Architecture, Application/Service Architecture and Technology/Infrastructure Architecture
Developing/documenting Architecture Roadmaps, Standards & Patterns, Business problems including Scope, Functional and Non-functional Requirements Solution Design
Contributing to Architecture Governance forums with the ability to document and track actions is essential.
Business and technical problem solving skills
Technology implementation experience
