Enterprise Computing (EC) Change Coordinator - Glasgow

My client is a highly dynamic and globally successful Investment Bank.

They currently have an opportunity for a Change Service Coordinator to join their team in Glasgow on a contract basis. The role will be working in the IT Service/Infrastructure Management team where you will be responsible for working within change control, process, audit, and vendor management of delivery of service across end users in the bank

EC Service Management is comprised of:
* Service Management team provisioning process guidance and adherence analysis for incident, problem, change, service request and Service Level management within EC Engineering and Operations as well as acting as stakeholders in the firm wide Service Management processes and policies.
* Supplier Service Management team, managing the day to day Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) EC service provisioned by third party vendors, tracking against contracted SLAs and liaising between end users, Engineering, Operations and vendor teams
* Transformation team, working with both Service Managers and Supplier Service Managers to optimize the vendor delivery supporting the end user experience

Primary Responsibilities:
* Working with technologists throughout EC to investigate Changes against the EC Change Management Audit Supervision process
* Formally recording of evidence on investigations of change activity
* Supporting the transition of Change Management Audit Supervision from the Project Management department to the EC Service Management department
* Provisioning training and education to technology end users of the Service
* Identifying supervision process improvements and elevating them to the functional manager for review
* Working with other technology sub-divisions across Core Infrastructure to understand process differences and inconsistencies across Change Management supervision
* Onboarding new assets to the supervision process
* Contributing to the process to exemption of non change activities from the process, in accordance with the firm wide Change Management procedure and policies
* Working with the functional manager to implement the defined exemption process
* Measuring and reporting on SLAs, KPIs and trending as well as other appropriate metrics

* Previous experience of working with internal / external audit and regulators

* Previous experience of an IT infrastructure environment
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
* ITIL v3 Service Transition practioner certificate and/or ITIL v3 Expert
