In this fast paced Executive Assistant role you will report to a Senior HR Leader to provide first class support in addition to supporting a number of other business functions.
*Support to generalist HR areas co-ordinating talent processes, requisition for new hire processes, project support on annual HR processes
*Executive assistant duties such as diary management, reporting, team activity co-ordination, office management and procurement processes and reporting.
*Support to manage the finance levy fund for Apprentices in Engineering, Customer Services, Sales and Management. Administrative/reporting/logistics co-ordination for the Apprentice Programme of circa 100 Apprentices.
*Support the operation of the Customer Connect programme which is the Transactional Installation Engineers development programme.
*Sales career ladder & academy and development programmes: support co-ordination of logistics for development and talent management activities & reporting.
*Organisational Health, engagement, diversity & inclusion and well-being activity support.
How you will do it
This role is well positioned to suit either an experienced Executive Assistant or candidates looking to obtain experience in a global corporate organisation, by providing a grounding to develop a long-term career within the organisation through exposure to sales, operational and support functions within the organisation. Given the role is working in an HR environment, then previous HR function experience or working in a position with knowledge of HR processes. The remit of the HR team and leader is broad so the person should expect to be involved in all aspects of HR related work in a very busy environment, so the ability to be flexible and agile to an evolving work environment is important.
The incumbent may be required to own and co-ordinate projects and initiatives aligned to the organisation's strategic objectives, as well as having excellent organisational skills allowing you to work across multiple tasks and undertake full diary management. Additionally you will be responsible for reporting so attention to detail is required. You will be responsible for communicating at Director Level with internal stakeholders on a daily basis. As such we are looking for an excellent communicator with the confidence to interact at this level.
