My Client is a leading organisation within the energy sector is looking for a facilities assistant with strong trade skills.

This is a permanent role. The role will provide day to day support for the Facilities Department.
The role includes emergency call out cover and some out of hours / weekend contractor support:

The successful applicant will:
* Have excellent practical trade skills, basic plumbing and carpentry skills are preferred
* An appreciation of the requirements for H & S at work: an understanding of work at heights, permit to work, any nationally recognised H & S training qualifications; NEEBOSH, CITB, PASMA etc beneficial but full training will be provided.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills; the role requires the applicant to communicate and build relationships with internal clients, contractors and service providers at all levels of the organisation
* Be PC literate; use of e-mail and Microsoft Office based systems is a pre-requisite
* Be self-motivated. They will be responsible for the prioritisation, organisation and execution their own and specified contractors work
* High personal standards of honesty, accountability and ethics are essential.
The standard working week is 37.5 hours Mon to Fri, with core hours for this role being 07:30 to 16:00 week days with an hour for lunch.
