What you will do

The Field Line Manager will support the Regional Installation Manager to align and deliver out strategic objectives for our Installation growth plan. You will lead and drive our key initiatives within the install teams and influence individual performance by greater management focus. The objectives of the role will be to enhance business performance by benchmarking technician's & Subcontractor performance and driving results through set key goals and objectives. You will participate in a forum for sharing business improvement and implementing best working practices within the UK operation.

The Field Line Manager will take personal responsibility for leading install delivery, quality and health and safety by acting as a role model to meet and exceed customer expectations you will also be responsible for your own financial work bank. You will also support the Regional Installation Managers focus on optimisation scheduling and cost management while in addition effectively managing customer relationships across a variety of companies and organisations.

How you will do it

To drive efficiencies and productivity of Installation technicians & Subcontractors.

To focus and drive Margin Enhancement.

To lead and drive a first-class customer service experience.

To ensure all engineers & subcontractors conform to QEHS regulations and ensure adequate training is provided as and when needed to meet the businesses requirement for a zero-harm workplace.

Responsible for all RAMS, PPE, Toolbox talks, van audits and accident investigations.

Responsible for the continuous improvement of the engineer's performance via RTS, training and development.

Management of the engineers & subcontractors planning and delivery of installation works.

Responsible for internal technical audits.

Qualifications - External
What we look for

Able to deal with client requirements in a fast and speedy manner.

Experience of working within an installation department and all responsibilities that come with this role.

Experience in managing a team of engineers.

Experience in Mechanical Engineering.

How to manage complex customer accounts.

How to create and build effective working relationships.

Full UK drivers license.

Preferred

Technical experience and knowledge of fire legislation and standards within the relevant field.

Previous experience of working within the fire protection industry and knowledge of sprinkler regulations

Experience in managing and planning of Mechanical Fire Suppression.

Excellent understanding of industries we are protecting.

Preferred experience of leading teams, coaching, and developing staff.

Relevant industry Sprinkler experience is desirable.
