What you will do
The Install Engineer will be required to Install, service, test and commission Automatic Sprinkler systems to the relevant standards and to provide the highest level of customer service through the maximisation of resources and sensitivity to costs and budgets. Also required to fabricate, install and carry out repairs to Automatic Sprinkler system pipework and components. Attend callouts as and when required in order to meet customer demands and internal processes / rotas.

How you will do it
*Provide excellent Customer Service to meet the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.
*To service, test and install the appropriate pipework / systems; dismantle and reconstruct equipment as required by the customer or business. Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation / service debris and waste correctly.
*Follow and service / test and repair in accordance with relevant service standards.
*Follow and install in accordance with relevant fabrication drawings / instructions.
*Report and document fully any changes, deficiencies or deviations in systems.
*Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates / pressure test certificates or checklist as appropriate.
*Ability to adapt to various working environments, demonstrate ability to minimise risk and maintain a clean Health and Safety record.
*Identification of problem areas when servicing, testing or installing systems.
*To ensure that the service, test or installation / modification meets customer, health & safety and statutory requirements.
*Attending emergency callouts effectively in order to maintain safety and deliver customer needs.
*Adopt correct methods in order to install to relevant standards and within EHS requirements

*Flexibility to adapt working hours to meet with customer requirements.
*Geographical area of responsibility with occasional travel across areas and the UK.
*Must possess sound industry knowledge and have proven background through recognised apprenticeship or hold similar qualification.
*Knowledge of the British Standard BSEN12845 and Factory Mutual regulations
*Full clean driving licence
*Ability to lift, carry and climb ladders. To carry equipment, ie; pipework etc up and down *ladders ensuring conformance to health and safety requirements. Ability to work at high level when required.
*Ability to use power tools to repair and / or dismantle systems pipework or components.
*Need to have CSCS

Preferred
*Preferred to also possess LPCB Module 1 and Module 2 Qualifications
*Preferred to possess a Health and Safety qualification
*IPAF qualified preferred
*Preferable time served within a technical environment such as fire Sprinkler Systems.
