What you will do

We are looking for an electrical fire alarm service engineer to join our team of engineers that deliver the planned preventive maintenance of fire detection and protection systems throughout the UK.

How you will do it

Reporting to the Field Line Manager - As an experienced fire alarm service engineer in you will undertake regular service and maintenance on various industrial sites across the UK to a high standard to the current British standard. Provide complete and detailed reports including faults, non-compliances and recommendations.

The successful candidates will require good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work along and part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Other responsibilities within the role include participating and contributing to business improvements and performance enhancing initiatives.

Conforming to all company health and safety regulations, company and site working procedures, actively take part in all training provided as required to meet the business requirement for a zero harm workplace.

What we look for

The successful candidate
*must have experience working on fire alarm systems, within a service focused business and previous experience within the industrial sector.
*hold F.I.A. Unit 5 Fire Alarm Maintenance training and have a good understanding of the industry BS5839 2017 standards
*have experience servicing and maintaining various type and of conventional, addressable and extinguisher fire panels including Minerva, Morley, R3, Discovery, Chubb and Advanced.
*have experience servicing CO2, Inergen gas suppression systems and calibration gas and flame detectors
*hold a full UK driving license

This position involves extensive travel with overnight stays.
