Front End Tech Lead - Permanent - Hybrid model - up to £85k

My client is a global leader within the Hospitality industry and is currently the biggest hospitality business within the UK. The technical architecture is taking a new direction to support a new technology plan - a really exciting time to be joining!

The Role:
The Front End Lead will be responsible for driving the design process across all platforms working closely with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs. Working alongside the Principal Technical Lead and engineering teams, the main focus will be identifying and utilising new opportunities for technology to help drive the business vision.

Main Responsibilities:
Effectively work alongside the Principal Tech Lead in driving the Engineering practices.
Consistently evaluate and potentially improve technical designs and business requirements in line with company objectives.
Support and develop training plans for the team.
Ensure standards, approaches and the overall strategy for the frontend technology is being adhered to and constantly evolving where necessary.
Communicate effectively with the wider teams, colleagues across the business and all relevant external parties.

Key Skills & Experience Required:
Proven knowledge and experience of developing technology platforms - technical architecture, planning and improvement activities using agile techniques.
Expert level in JavaScript - latest versions of React, Angular and Vue.JS is desirable.
Proven knowledge of CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of Cloud Platforms - AWS preferred.
Previous experience of leading a team driving performance through training and collaborating effectively.
Strong communication on all levels.
