Front-End Web Developer- Boston- Initial 12-month contract
One of my largest clients within the music technology industry are looking for a passionate system Front-End Web Developer to join their team in Boston for an initial 12-month contract.

Description:
You will improve and create web tools that enable them to explore, enrich and evaluate data, helping provide valuable insights that drive product decisions and improve user experiences. Above all, your work will impact how users across the globe experience music.

What you'll do:
*Build web applications to unlock valuable work streams and improve efficiencies for Data Curation
*Deliver high-quality code
*Collaborate with data curators, software engineers, product owners, and data scientists
*Communicate with Data Curation and code partners to plan, coordinate and solicit feedback
*Work from our office in the heart of Boston near Government Center

Who you are:
*Strong experience in Java and Python will be ideal for candidates
*You know how to build user-friendly, data-rich JavaScript/HTML/CSS applications
*You have a deep understanding of current and emerging trends of the web platform
*You are experienced with modern JavaScript coding, testing, debugging and automation techniques
*You care about web technologies, exploring data, user experience and design and music
*You have insights on the trade offs between front-end JavaScript libraries
*You have experience with the latest graphing libraries
*You can tell us about projects you've worked on that helped people understand data
*You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and can communicate your ideas
*A degree in Computer Science or a similar area and music experience are bonuses
