What you will do

A graduate design engineer with us will see you building new skills, while applying your knowledge to real-world live projects. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore your potential and you'll enjoy full support from your line manager and a mentor. We are offering a full-time permanent position for talented people.

How you will do it

Carry out all aspects of Fire and / or Security design work for projects within the business as may be required and prepare quotes and specifications to customer requirements and in line with company procedure and client requirements. Also ensuring all Bids, tenders and project works are delivered to the highest standard in line with current legislation, standards and code of practice along with support the Key Account, Project Managers and FLM's with consultancy or design issues. We would expect you to review, comment and approve the technical conformity of specifications produced by others and responsibility for checking and highlighting design changes and to liaise with Subcontractors where applicable to assist the KAM, PM or FLM in reviewing quotations provided by Subcontractors.
Also developing Technical Manuals and / or presentation portfolios for progression toward to the Technical Author.
