Our client, a US based Cloud Services Leader is setting up our HK Public Sector team and this role offers a creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you'll be at the center of the company's innovation.

As part of Company's Greater China Business is looking for an experienced Leader to drive adoption of the company's cloud computing offerings in the Public Sector in Hong Kong and Macau. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Leader to join our initial team to drive public sector adoption across HKT.

The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for technology and a successful track record in public sector technology business development and sales. The candidate will be responsible for building and supporting a business development/sales team with staff in Hong Kong. The role has team leadership, business development and sales management responsibilities. The candidate will develop a territory and investment plan, and will be asked to execute closely against this plan. He/she will be engaged and involved in public sector outreach and influencing activities, including those that may extend to government, education and research institutes and other various public sector platforms or associations. The candidate and his/her team will see performance tracked against aligned pre-established metrics, including customer pipeline and other sales/BD related metrics. This role is a hands-on leadership role, especially from the onset as you build your team.

Roles & Responsibilities
*Drive revenue and market share across Hong Kong and Macau public sector segments to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
*Develop, execute and constantly review against a territory plan which covers sales, BD, partner, marketing and other aspects that leads to public sector market momentum around adoption of the Company's cloud services in the region.
*Hire, lead and develop a team of experienced sales/BD contributors with individual territory coverage definitions.
*Participates as contributes as a member of the Company's HK Leadership Team.
*Develop long-term strategic relationships with key government departments and accounts.

Basic Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree in business or technology
*15+ years technology related business development or sales experience, including 5+ years in team or people management roles.
*Proven track record of territory growth and quota attainment covering Public Sector accounts in Hong Kong and Macau.
*Fluency in Cantonese, English & Mandarin, in both written and oral form.

Preferred Qualifications
*Computer Science background with strong technical competency on latest technologies around cloud, digital, DevOps, ML/AI.
*Government Relations background, with activities and key executive relationship with customers and partner ecosystem in Hong Kong would be a major plus
