My client, a medium sized enterprise based in Wiltshire, to recruit an experienced IT Operations Manager (or IT Manager) for this excellent, challenging and exciting role

The successful candidate will be responsible for

- Managing the support of IT platforms and applications for Level 1 support enquiries
- Level 2 technical issues.
- Service Desk management and improving 1st Line capability as well as end-user training and guidance - Establish and maintain a knowledge base of information for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong line management responsibility
- Liaison with the development arm of the IT function
- Support of previously implemented applications and platforms as well as upcoming ones.
- Systems lifecycle management
- Managing the provision of effective IT support
- IT service communications
- Service monitoring & reporting
- Security
- KPI and SLA Management
- IT service communications

To be considered for this excellent role

- 5 years overall experience in service desk management
- Support services including hardware AND software support, Office365, Microsoft Teams and Cloud experience.
- Excellent team management and organisational skills
- Proven track record of internal and external customer facing responsibilities.
- Able to work independently and effectively in a direct and indirect (matrix) environment.
