What you will do
Reporting into the HR Manager, the role will support and drive the effectiveness and excellence of the HR Field Solutions team by delivering a consistent HR service by providing exceptional HR advice and managing all aspects of day to day HR business requirements.
How you will do it
*Support all aspects of Employee Relations;
*Wellbeing - support the communication and strategy of the wellbeing program, providing communications to the champions, research on potential activities and general guidance
*Occupational Health - supporting setting up Managers on the OH portal, providing basic guidance on making a successful referral.
*Employee Assistance Programme - supporting with the promotion of the EAP program.
*Disciplinary & Grievance - provide note taking support
*Probation - managing probation extensions, and terminations (with guidance from the ER Specialist)
*Flexible Working - manage flexible working requests (with guidance from the ER Specialist), ensure timelines are met and the requests are tracked
*Restructuring & Redundancy - provide administrative support to the all restructuring and redundancy activities, including calculating severance costs, letter preparation, drafting settlement agreements.
*Absence Management - management of absence on Workday
*Performance Management - providing data
*Terms & Conditions Changes - tracking and checking contracts to support T&C change activities
*Conflict of Interest - follow up on annual conflict of interest questionnaires
*TUPE, Mergers & Acquisitions - preparation of side by side documents, coordination of transfer paperwork and general support for the process.
*Exit Interview - sending out and following up on requests for exit interviews. Driving a high level of completion.
*Processing of invoices
*Supporting the tracking of ER metrics
What we look for
*Experience of working in a HR Assistant role, with a sound understanding of HR principles and best practices
*Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work in a fast paced business
*Has the experience and ability to manage a variety of HR activities simultaneously
*Basic understanding of current UK Employment Law
*Good project and change management skills
*Proficient in Workday, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
*Ability to work independently, with the support of the HR Manager and wider HR team.
*Able to use initiative at all times and make decisions when necessary
*Strong prioritization and time management skills
*Demonstrates and understanding and commitment to excellent service delivery
*Able to problem solve and identify root causes and recommend appropriate solutions
*Good analytical skills
*Strong organizational skills
*Excellent language skills - both oral and written
*Experience in payroll and payroll tax processes
*CIPD qualified (or working towards this) would be an advantage
