Infrastructure Project Management Office (PMO)

My client who are a multinational banking and financial services organisation are currently looking for an Infrastructure PMO on a 6 months rolling contract basis.

You will oversee project(s) spread across multiple disciplines, teams and locations. You will be responsible for:
* Programme / Project set-up and closure
* Project planning
* Monitoring, tracking and managing risks and issues
* Providing programme / project governance
* Finance and resource management
* RAID management
* Maintenance of controls and standards
* Progress reporting
* Tracking and reporting project budgets
* Quality assurance

Required skills and experience:
* Global PMO experience on IT infrastructure projects
* Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Preparing accurate and timely project and financial reports for Project Board, Steering committee and senior executives
* Ability to provide effective project governance, execution and closure
* Solid experience in Clarity PPM tool, Microsoft Project, advance Excel and Sharepoint
* Experience of working in a change environment, either in a portfolio or programme/project office or in a delivery capacity.
* Banking industry experience is preferred
* Professional project management qualification is desirable
