Inside Sales Engineer- Vehicle Systems, Permanent.

What you will do:

Your role will focus around the proactive sale of products or services to customers via the phone or online, rather than face-to-face. Using strong technical knowledge and commercial skills of the fire and security industry you will act as the Vehicle Systems product specialist making partnership in between Outside Sales and Customer Service colleagues across Europe and Africa.

Dealing with and following up sales enquiries to ensure incremental sales in close cooperation with Account Managers / Outside Sales. You will drive everything with potential sales up to order with proactive sale of products or services by phone or online. Improve customer satisfaction through commercial activities. Following up sales transactions effectively to ensure that the agreed quantities of products are delivered to the customer as set out in the sales offer/order, at the agreed place and time.

How you will do it:

As an Inside Sales Engineer you will be able to build effective relationships and be heavily customer focused. You will understand the vehicle systems and identify potential customers to proactively sell our services.
Your communications skills will be key to deliver a positive impression of the business to target clients and existing customers within your product area.
Your technical enquiry will cover whether to provide a quote, handle the request, and provide product and brand selection.
Assist in data gathering to ensure customers will be able to request project engineering and add this to our CRM, Salesforce.
Follow up with clients to be up to date on project status and to keep records on SF updated and report to management, as required.
Be the main contact (next to outside sales) and communicate and coordinate towards the customer but also in between internal departments / people.
Next to Outside Sales develop customer relationship, run technical sales presentations.
Focus on Key Accounts and stay aligned with global key account manager & strategies.

What we look for:

Required

*Excellent verbal and written command of English and local language.
*Knowledge of additional computer programs used for the job. (Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
*CRM experience with ideally experience using Salesforce.
*Telephone Systems.
*Experience working in the fire protection and/or construction and building services sector.
*Experience of working for large multi-national businesses.

Preferred
*ERP systems experience within an SAP environment.
*An understanding of Water & Suppression Fire products and applications.
