What you will do
As Internal Communications Officer you will take responsibility for communications to our employees, ensuring consistency with global business communications, marketing activity and external messaging. This will involve delivering business area communication from senior leaders and support teams, through a range of traditional, digital and social engagement platforms. The Internal Communication Officer position is key to maintaining and improving our employee awareness of business performance updates, employee engagement, wellbeing activity and organisational changes, whilst ensuring visibility of the senior leadership team.

How you will do it
Working as part of a small and close-knit team, you will support the internal communications strategy to ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated. You will be responsible for planning, editing and writing content for a variety of mediums including regular email bulletins, monthly newsletters, leadership calls and presentations. You will also use feedback to adjust communications content accordingly, as well as researching and piloting alternative communications methods to increase engagement.

What we look for
Ideally the successful candidate will have proven experience in an internal communications role and some experience working for a large organisation. You must have excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, familiarity with the Microsoft suite, plus the ability to seek out stories from employees and teams across the business. Use of Adobe products, experience in video creation and knowledge of Poppulo would be desirable. The successful candidate will display strong interpersonal skills to establish professional relationships at all levels and the confidence to manage stakeholders. Someone with experience in a marketing or employee engagement role could also be suitable for this position.
