You will be looking after our existing customers with a view to growing those accounts and at the same time, approaching prospective customers to gain new business. In time, this role could develop into an internal and external sales model, giving the right candidate the opportunity to progress in their career and gain valuable knowledge in the world of monitoring.

Responsibilities

*To proactively contact customers following enquiries whether written or verbal with a view to converting to sale appointments.
*Taking inbound calls and supporting technical queries from our Installers
*Using a broad range of monitoring software
*Managing own workload to ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner
*Maintain complete knowledge of full the range of company services and products and apply to full effect when addressing customer needs
*Achieve level of targeted sales appointment activity for new and existing business as directed by the business
*Develop and maintain a full understanding of needs and solutions within the Independent Monitoring market
*Process customer contracts and finalize administration relating to the contract.
*Build strong relationships with existing and new accounts to ensure sustainable and profitable accounts over the long term
*Self-generate sales leads by networking, referrals and cold calling
*Responsible for updating the CRM portal, Salesforce.com
Key Skills

*Professional approach with ability to communicate effectively at all levels
*Excellent customer service skills
*Previous telephone sales experience an advantage
*Prior knowledge of Mas and alarm monitoring is preferred but not essential
*Good organizational and time management skills
*Ability to work alone and as part of a team
*Flexible and able to adapt rapidly to change in priorities
