Junior C++ developer - CHESHIRE

My client is a highly dynamic and successful IT Services organisation with a strong presence across the UK. They currently have an opportunity for a Junior C++ developer to join their team in the Cheshire area.

Working within the Software Development team, you will be expected to have an understanding of object-oriented software development and be eager to turn theoretical / academic knowledge into practical and commercial experience. Working with the lead Software Engineer, you will be able to provide technical support, and be tasked with implementation of algorithm changes.

- Participate either alone or as part of a team, within a feature driven software development methodology.
- Be able to understand existing code, and maintain / enhance.
- Design and implement new software features and improve existing features.
- Investigate, locate and fix coding defects.
- Creation of documentation, including specifications, in-code comments and technical documentation
- Provide on-demand development support to help resolve customer issues.
- Communication of status updates on assigned projects.
- Comply with coding standards or implement new standards as necessary.

We are looking for a candidate who has some experience or exposure to the following:
- Microsoft Visual C++
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2017
- Object Oriented Software Design
- Data Methodologies and Data Structures
- Software Integration techniques

- Graduate in a computer science or related field / relevant Post Graduate qualification
- Any other development related qualification would be an advantage
