The Lead Architect will be coming in to oversee the high-level architecture of the platform and all of its main components. As the business has multiple locations all over the world, the base for the role is flexible but collaboration and effective leadership of the international team is evidently essential.
The chosen applicant will be expected to work closely with the senior members of the organisation and key stakeholders in the shared objective of developing the offering and network of the business. The engineering team that the Lead Architect will be coming in to oversee consists of 80 multi-cultural talents over 5 countries so a clear ability and motivation to take over an international team will be a perfect fit.
Lead the documentation, design and continuous maintenance of the architectural guidance for the company.
Consistently ensure that all solutions are aligned with the company principles and best practices paying close attention to the architectural designs.
To provide web-scale cloud services, utiliise any relevant and innovative tools, frameworks and softwares.
Maintain the continuous governance of third-party integrations.
Communicate effectively across the business with various teams such as product, engineering, data and any relevant business stakeholders to ensure business success and forge long-term relationships.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Experience and clear understanding of relating architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs and engineering development.
Extensive technical background with with ideally experience in cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP.
Superb communication skills with evident abilities of influencing, structuring and planning long-term objectives for international teams.
Previous experience of building cloud-native applications and designing platform features for customer-focused organisations.
Strong examples of leading a team through problems and technical issues.
