Lead Generation Specialist

What you will do
ShopperTrak, part of Johnson Controls, empowers retailers and shopping centers worldwide to optimise the shopping experience and improve profitability through data-driven insights. We have enabled thousands of retailers and shopping centres worldwide to increase revenue and profitability, by providing them with multi-dimensional data for clear cut decisions so they can uncover extraordinary insight to increase profitability.

Through our unique retail technology and analysis solutions, we can identify key in-store and online profit opportunities in areas such as customer conversions, queue management, sales, marketing and merchandising. Our insights support retail benchmarking between stores and sites.

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for gathering market intelligence, prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads and working in collaboration with the Inside Sales, Business Development and Marketing teams.

How you will do it
The Lead Generation specialist will become a product expert across the ShopperTrak product range allowing you to use a consultative and informative approach to develop new business across the Retail and Retail property sectors in the UK. Ideally already working in a Sales or Lead Generation role you will contact new clients via telephone and digital communication such as email and social media to introduce the ShopperTrak solution and identify appropriate buyers within the target market.

As well as targeting new clients you will follow up on warm leads and future buyers to communicate market intelligence and business updates and research to potential customers. Using your expert knowledge of the ShopperTrak product and your growing understanding of the Retail market in the UK you will conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how the ShopperTrak solution will meet those needs and set appointments for the Field Sales team to follow up.

The Leads Generation specialist will work hard behind the scenes to Identify key buying influencers within our targeted retail stores to determine budget and timeline and build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.

You will work closely with the Business Development Managers and Sales Management to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals, managing data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.

In addition to targeted approaches to key influencers the Lead Generation Specialist will be a creative individual who will take a lead role in the planning and attendance of retail roadshows, exhibitions and conferences where we can meet our future customers.

What we look for
The Lead Generation Specialist will be a motivated sales person with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed determined sales targets and activity quotas. Ideally we are looking for a candidate who can evidence 1+ years' experience within a telemarketing or Inside Sales role.

As well as a passion and enthusiasm for Sales the successful candidate will have strong client relationship and customer service skills with the ability to nurture leads through the sales funnel, sometimes during extended periods of time.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must as is good working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint). Experience of using CRM Salesforce/LinkedIn/Sales Navigator would be an excellent benefit.
