ARC Monitoring & Technology Operations Manager

The ARC Monitoring & Technology Operations Manager is an experienced professional responsible for implementing new products and services into the Customer Service Centre. By partnering with the business, IT team, end-users and suppliers. The role is also responsible that all ARC's are functioning in line with NSI/BSI standards from an infrastructure and Technology perspective

What you will do

Internal
*Training for customer facing staff on new products/features of products/features of MAS
*Work closely with the IT team to understand standards and policies
*Create in house solutions to support the business
*Advise on Alarm receiving centre related issues/risks (AIM signaling/Project MARS)
*Telephony technical support when required (New equipment etc)
*To monitor all Alarm receiving centre leases and understand any requirements for new Alarm receiving centre premises

External
*Work closely with the product marketing team with new and existing products to ensure compatible and has the ability to be monitored.
*Understand panel protocols and identify what we need to do within MAS/ARC to be able to bring the product on line.
*Identify any additional Alarm receiving centre equipment required to facilitate new products
*Meet with suppliers and work to improve products so better suit the business and our customer needs.
*Identifying new or enhanced solutions
*Test new products before launches
*Ensure new products delivered to plan
*Attendance to BSI/NSI technical meetings on new standards

Alarm receiving centre - including direct leadership of 2 Technicians
*Continuously review ARC equipment
*Capacity within Servers
*Internet signaling links/fire walls
*Lifecycle of products
*Ensure that the ARC facility including generators and in compliance with the British Standards
*Ensure that weekly tests on ARC equipment are carried out and documented
