Due to major expansion my client is actively looking to recruit a Network and Unified Comms Engineer to join their IT department - this wonderful company is based 100 yards from a mainline station and is very easy to commute to

The successful candidate will be responsible for

- Supporting Network and Unified Communications technologies (on a UK wide basis)
- Supporting Cisco, Juniper, McAfee, Palo Alto based estates
- Supporting regional hubs
- Working with vendors and third party suppliers
- Security procedures
- BAU
- Ad hoc project based work
- Layer 2 and 3 support
- Firewall management
- Content filtering
- User and technical documentation
- Service enhancements
- Market and technical research
- Providing value add to new strategies and innovations
- Remediation processes

To be considered for this role you need to have experience in, at least most, of the following...

- LAN switches
- WAN
- Cisco unified comms
- Scripting
- the ability to develop network standards
- strong network technology experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Self starter
- Team player
