Operations Director - Transformation & Change

Working for a leading insurance company on a 6-12 month contract, the Senior Operations Director will own the COO roadmap, co-ordinating activities related to Operations, Op Model, and data. You will business partner with COO to enable evolution of the Data organisation - people & process. You will own Operating Model Performance (how company operates, reports, evolves) - process, measurement, intervention. You will work with colleagues to build, embed and drive a diverse, inclusive and high-performance culture and develops function to ensure obligations in relation to Audit, Risk, Controls are met.

*Define, develop and maintain a fully prioritized and business-aligned operations roadmap
*Work with colleagues in Data to document and deliver roadmap for COO blueprint of Data evolution
*Work closely with colleagues in Data, Product, Marketing, Commercial and Technology to continuously improve our delivery.
*Create, manage, report on and disseminate a set of relevant key metrics
*Support the COO in the preparation of key reports (e.g., Board, Audit Risk Committee).
*Work closely with the Risk & Compliance Director to ensure we are in alignment with our obligations.
*Work with wider business stakeholders to develop an effective D&I strategy for COO suite.
*Co-ordinate Incident response
*Develop documentation and communication process for Operating Performance

Experience required:
*Highly organized, detail and task focused
*A strong, collaborative leader, able to inspire & motivate
*Excellent stakeholder management skills
*Proven experience of operating up to board level
*Strong record of leading complex digital delivery
*A strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
*Experience in Agile/Lean delivery
*Highly numerate
