The ideal candidate will have experience in most (if not all) of the following
Working in an agile environment
Pragmatic problem solving
Effective testing strategy
Software testing (unit, integration, contract, regression)
API dev/testing tools
Creating test automation steps as part of a CI/CD process
Good understanding of non-functional requirements
Coaching and mentoring QA engineers, able to help them level up their skills
The role is multi-faceted and will include
Taking the lead on new initiatives.
Coach and line manage QA engineers
Exploring new ways of working
Bringing value add to the team.
Providing technical solutions
Support the adoption of automation,
Help reduce the time it takes to test code and validate assumptions
Create shorter lead times and increase successful deployments.
Engaging with stakeholders
Overseeing automated and manual testing approaches
