Sales Processing Team Leader

To manage centralised Processing Team of 19 currently and provide leadership and take responsibility for all management of order processing and invoicing activity reviewing potential business liability issues from data inaccuracies across relevant operational area, whilst managing the activities of the team to provide an effective and efficient and accurate order acceptance and invoicing process to support the business unit(s)

What you will do

*Responsible for the daily timely, accurate and effective processing of customer orders and invoicing/credit requests received from Field Sales and Operations and Cash Collections Teams
*Responsible for complex solutions delivery to fulfil customer billing requirements and cash management expectations
*Providing regular feedback to Sales and Operations Management on development of processes and status of orders and Invoicing/Credit backlogs
*Responsible for team members' coaching, development and training maintaining the appropriate level of cover at all times
*To lead, develop, motivate and inspire the team and individuals to achieve performance targets and provide customer satisfaction through the creation of an efficient and responsive processing environment
*Responsible for proactive planning of workloads to prioritise and deliver against key objectives and tasks. This includes ensuring there is sufficient resource allocation to manage peaks in order to maintain average acceptance times
*To undertake individual performance reviews for competencies, training needs and set future SMART goals and ensure appropriate action is taken to continuously improve the delivery of results
*Manage the flow of work within the team to meet demands and ensure JCI financial and customer imposed deadlines are met
*To maintain responsibilities for compliance with regulatory requirements
*To lead, develop, motivate and inspire the team and individuals to achieve individual goals and provide customer satisfaction through the creation of a performance environment
*Maintains effectiveness of systems with streamlined and optimised processes and solutions to ensure performance levels are sustained
*Take ownership and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, to improve operating business models and processes.

How you will do it

*Ensure accuracy of information to facilitate Operations and invoicing functions post order acceptance
*Queries relating to invoices due to errors and completeness
*Level of credits against invoice volumes
*Debt levels of overdue items in liaison with Credit Control Team
