Sales Administrator
based from Thurmaston office
job share - Monday to Wednesday
8:30am - 5pm

What you will do

To support the sales community through completion of subcontractor questionnaires and to undertake administrative tasks to identify, monitor and assist in tender bids enabling growth within the company. You will identify, communicate and manage lead opportunities identified through sources such as: Construction Enquirer; local frameworks, ABI to drive sales productivity.

The role will be office based from Leicester and you will report to the Sales Enablement Executive. You will work as part of a sales coordination and proposal management team and across all business units. You will work closely with the Bid Writers to manage the bid portals and projects in the pipeline to provide updates on performance against the opportunities.

Critical will be the successful applicants' ability to communicate openly with external and internal customers to meet and exceed customer expectations. The successful applicant must be Tenacious with a "can-do" attitude and must be persistent, resolute in focusing on maintaining the highest standard of workmanship.

How you will do it

Complete company information on Subcontractor/Supplier Approval PQQ/Questionnaires
Maintain opportunity portals such as (but not limited to): Altius; Avetta; Builders Profile etc.
Identify & raise tender leads
Register on tender portals and download tender documents & pass for completion
Responsible for keeping a Bid Database. Which bids we are/have responded to. Which business we have won/lost.
Keep an accurate account of future opportunities and their release dates
Responsible for CV Database - compile and maintain CV's for inclusion in bids
Work with Bid Writers to maintain a database of References for inclusion in bids
Identify, communicate and manage lead opportunities identified through sources other than bid portals to drive sales productivity such as Construction Enquirer; local frameworks, ABI etc. through our CRM System - Salesforce
Ensure that all company collateral used for bid inclusion is available and current. Liaise with marketing and QEHS teams to ensure all documents are up-to-date.

Previous experience of sales coordination advantageous but not essential
Previous experience of responding to subcontractor questionnaire advantageous but not essential
