What you will do
The Sales Consultant will be working with the Sales Director and O&G Management team to lead the business development and sales activities in order to target medium to large CAPEX projects in the North Sea Oil and Gas Market.

How you will do it
You will network and undertake research within the market to identify Brownfield and Greenfield opportunities for the JCI scope of solutions. You will work to determine and meet decision makers and influencers in Owners, Operators, FEED Consultants and EPC organisations in order to generate and qualify opportunities for JCI to pursue.

Build client relationships, understand customer needs and work with the JCI business unit bid and sales leads in order to coordinate and lead opportunity management and conversion. Deliver a high level of activities in order to generate and maintain a strong pipeline and conversion rates for CAPEX opportunities.

*Ability to demonstrate experience, knowledge, a proven and successful track record in a business development and sales career aligned to
*Offshore Oil and Gas Market Place.
*Mid to long term cycle project pursuit / solution sales
*North Sea Owner, Operator, FEED, EPC, SURF sales
*Ability to communicate both internally and externally at high levels (Senior Director and Equivalent).
*Customer focused orientation with strong influencing and negotiation skills to gain wide acceptance.
*Ability to learn and understand mechanical and electrical engineered solutions
*A high level of Business Acumen with strong strategic agility.
*Systematic and Logical with a drive to achieve goals and objectives.
*Must be self-motivated, ambitious and thrive on challenges.
*Live locally and work within Aberdeen on a daily basis. Be able to undertake occasional travel both in and outside the UK.

Preferred
*Existing relationships within North Sea Owner, Operator, FEED, EPC, SURF organisations within the UK.
*Knowledge of Hydraulic control, hydraulic power, wellhead control and chemical injection systems.
*Knowledge of fire detection, protection, suppression, control and safety systems.
*Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration solutions.
*Experience in using CRM tools e.g. salesforce.
