What you will do

EMEALA Sales Operations Director leads the planning, deployment and execution of commercial excellence programmes across the region, focused on driving sales productivity and secured order growth. Working in a matrixed organization the successful candidate will define strategy and lead execution cadence through the regional sales operations communities and it is therefore critical the successful candidate can orchestrate resources via indirect leadership to execute work effectively.

This newly created position is a significant enabler in our drive to accelerated growth, via a commercial transformation programme driving towards a strategy directed, marketing led, high performance organization and culture.

How you will do it


The successful Sales Operations Director will play a critical leadership role across all businesses and be a key member of the commercial excellence team, focused on optimising sales tools, training and process to enable the drive to more digitally enabled marketing campaigns and directed selling motions in the field.

In conjunction with driving sales productivity and the commercial excellence programme the successful candidate will:
*Lead technology and process improvements to deliver the newly designed go-to market framework, and drive continuous improvement in execution for improved return on investment from campaigns

*Be the SME for the commercial planning process, where we build sales quotas from a bottom up plan which defines capacity and productivity strategies, along with detailed go to market models. Ensure sales compensation and reward programmes align to the commercial plan and are optimized for specific growth requirements.

*Lead the strategy for technology evolution focusing on CRM effectiveness, and driving holistic execution through our salesforce.com platform - forthcoming projects include configure / price / quote (CPQ) technology, and forecast automation, marketing automation and digital marketing solutions

*Lead the continued evolution of commercial KPI's, data and reporting to enable sales leaders to act with purpose from the insights provided

*Work collaboratively with market intelligence, field marketing, sales and services to create long term sustainable relationships with active feedback, and honest alignment to actions to improve

*Build peer relationships in across the Company in areas such as global accounts, digital solutions/services, centers of excellence and other regions to define best practices, how we leverage and areas for growth and connect more effectively with EMEALA teams

*Chair the EMEALA sales operations community and build a winning environment for continued success

*Represent EMEALA in global forums, strategic planning, and branding discussions







What we look for

*Bachelor's degree in related subject with minimum 10 years of demonstrable business experience in commercial roles/functions
*Knowledge of customer and competitive programs, and the ability to develop effective programs understanding the trends and issues facing commercial teams in the digital age
*Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and presents convincingly to peers, executives, partners, and customers
*Exceptional enterprise leadership skills in a dynamic and fast-growing organization
*Good knowledge of CRM and associated technologies to drive productivity and execution excellence
*Willingness to travel
