My client is currently in expansion mode and is looking to recruit a Security Analyst who can demonstrate experience in the following areas
- Cyber security experience
- Strong all round technical experience
- Certifications in IT and/or Cyber Security
- strong team player
- excellent communication skills
- eager to learn new products and innovations
- the ability to train and mentor junior members of staff

The role will include, but not be restricted to
- maintaining security processes and procedures
- responding to the threat landscape on an ongoing basis
- security monitoring
- security tooling
- incident management
- technical analysis of security issues
- SIEM issues
- project based work
- working on future security based issues and developments
- investigation and reporting
- incident documentation
- troubleshooting
This role is ideally suited to someone who has a background in IT security or a background in IT with a desire to build on existing security knowledge
Based in the Manchester area this role will be hybrid
