Senior Content Strategist/Consultant- Remote working- Initial 3-month contract
I am currently working with a UK based insurance comparison site who are looking for a highly experienced Senior Content Strategist/Consultant to join their team for an initial 3-month contract which could extent.

Project Goal
-Review of operating model and a strategy defined to ensure we will meet customer needs more effectively through audience-led, relevant branded content that is aligned to our brand and business growth strategy.
-Our growth strategy requires us to evolve our marketing model towards a more audience driven approach. We need to develop a framework for our content strategy to allow us stretch into conversations beyond traditional advertising. Our current approach to content curation and distribution is fragmented.
-Getting to the right content publishing strategy:

We have a clear view of our brand mission and strategy - we now need:
a) Outside-in stimulus/strategy and support to execute the pivot into a bespoke publisher model
b) A framework to execute against the strategy

Deliverables
-Content strategist / consultancy: external support to develop strategy and framework for execution
-We are seeking a senior content strategist to advise on strategy to establish our brand voice as a publisher and to advise on executional delivery of our chosen model

Role:
-Support us in strategy definition and operating model
-Support with expert lens for delivery partner selection to populate model (agencies/production partners/publishers)
Support with recruitment of key personnel / publishing talent - key roles identified (but not limited to) - Editor-in-Chief / Production & Operations Head
-Drive from strategy to execution: we are looking for a transformational strategy that disrupts the status quo for content engagement within sector, setting us apart from the competitor set

You need to be/have:
-Ambitious, disruptive, challenger approach - comfortable with leading strategic transformation programmes and able to inspire the broader business and key stakeholders with new ideas
-Strategist and thought leader with proven experience in content strategy, content marketing, publishing
-Proven experience in change management - and specifically in executing content models for brands previously
-Robust understanding of sales & marketing and proven experience in creating structured measurement frameworks
