Job description

My client, due to major expansion, is looking to recruit a Senior Network Analyst who can demonstrate experience in the following areas

Experience in a complex corporate IT infrastructure role is essential.
Network and Telephony Technologies
Supporting critical technologies (any of the following) AV Protection, Monitoring and configuration Systems, Virtualisation (VMware), Storage (Dell / HP Sans) and Support, IT Security (OpenDNS, Cloudflare, Splunk) and Web Infrastructure
VOIP and related network configuration

Additionally - any of the below would be very desirable

Knowledge of configuration around DNS and DHCP
Firewalls, best practice, security, VLANs, custom routing
Operational management of Palo Alto Panorama central console
Network security management
Excellent knowledge of configuring network appliances routers / switches

The role will include the following

- Installation, layout and maintenance of network infrastructure components
- Acting as a switching and routing SME within team
- Assisting in overall security and performance of estate
- Third line escalation point for incidents and problems and change
- Support project delivery and escalated BAU activity
- Ensure a smooth and simple process when dealing with live system issues/incidents,

The Senior Network Analyst will also support the wider IT function and business

Incident Management
All Change Requests (CRs) and Project deliverables
Problem Management
Knowledge sharing with other support staff to build good knowledge base
Identify, diagnose and resolve/escalate technical problems related to network failure / integrity and cascades to Network team.
Analyse and monitor data traffic and controls network resource performance
Third line support presence for business critical Network services including voice and data
Support Network Services team in DR and BCP Test Verification of systems
Prepare and implement firewall security policies, ensuring that all network security management procedures are adhered to.
Create and maintain all network infrastructure documentation as required.
Collaborate in delivery with Third Parties; ensure consistent standards are met at all times.
Maintain the company's compliance standards and own compliance training.
Actively manage general risk and audit issues
Maintain the company's compliance standards
Comply with Risk Management Policies
