Solutions Architects are at the crossroads of business and technology and engage with organizations at all stages of cloud adoption. Solutions Architects are responsible for creating and presenting technical content as well as sharing best practices.
Solutions Architects are responsible for the overall technical relationship between customers and the company and make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency. They work to understand the customer's needs and give prescriptive guidance on how to create business value and solutions with the company's Cloud technology. Solutions Architects lead activities such as architecture reviews, white-boarding sessions, demos and technical workshops. They collaborate with other teams such as account management, professional services, support, product teams and the partner ecosystem.
*Experience working in Financial Services organizations; implementing solutions in a regulated environment and knowledge supporting FSI related applications.
*Solid knowledge in infrastructure, virtualization and/or cloud computing technologies
*Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
*Experience designing and implementing solutions in the Financial Services industry
*Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
*Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
The following qualifications are desired but not required:
*3+ years software/technology customer facing experience
*Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
*Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, Information Assurance, Virtual Desktop, etc.), products (i.e., Oracle, SAP) and frameworks (ITIL, Zachman, TOGAF, etc.)
*Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
*Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
*History of successful technical sales consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
*Technical degree; Computer Science or Math background highly desired
